Surtax 25% on imports of steel and aluminum products from China October 15, 2024

The federal government intends to apply a 25 per cent surtax on imports of steel and aluminum products from China, effective October 15, 2024. At the 11th hour, Friday April 19th, CBSA decided to postpone once again Release 2 of CARM. New date October 2024.
